MailVault is a desktop email client for macOS, Windows and Linux that stores every message locally so users can delete it from the server and still keep a copy. It works with Gmail, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com and IMAP accounts, storing mail as plain .eml files in Maildir-style folders. The product targets people who want to free up mailbox storage while retaining full local archives, including former Notion Mail users who want views, fields and rules for their inbox.
